  • The Border Visa Program is a fast and simplified visa application provided by Greek authorities for Turkish citizens intending to make short-term tourist visits to certain Greek islands.

The visa granted under this program does not have Schengen visa status. It is only valid for the Greek island being visited, and is issued for a maximum of 6 nights, 7 days with a single entry-exit. During the validity of the visa, you can only stay on the island you entered; inter-island transitions are not allowed. It is mandatory to exit from the same island at the end of the visit.

  • Border Visa is not finalized in advance, like a Schengen visa.
After the application file is prepared, the passenger exits without visa from Turkish ports.
The final decision is made at the customs point of the relevant Greek island on the day of travel.
  • Generally, no information is provided before travel.
However, in some negative situations, information may be received indicating that the application has been rejected 2–3 days before the trip.
  • No justification is provided for rejected applications.
    Also, visa fee is non-refundable.

Things to Pay Attention to:

  • The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the entry date and must contain at least 2 blank pages.
  • The following passengers will not be granted a visa at the border:
    • Those who have previously been denied by Greece,
    • Those with an entry to the TRNC in their passport,
    • Those who obtained their passport from the Turkish Consulate in the TRNC.
  • The border visa is only valid for the island applied for.
Transition to other islands is not allowed.

**** Visa processing will be carried out by kapidakolayvize.com.

  • Panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program may not be able to take place if local authorities close the sites scheduled to be visited, if any event causes roads on the itinerary to be closed, or due to weather conditions that make it impossible to conduct the tour, and our agency is not responsible for such situations. Some tours may be conducted as group transport or walking due to closed roads or restricted vehicle access points, within the limits of possibility.
  • Guests are required to notify the guide at least 24 hours in advance in case of cancellation or changes of additional tours. The cancellation-refund status for the additional tour to be canceled is subject to the final decision of the local supplier.

  • Guests traveling with a Turkish green passport should update their passports if the issuance date is more than 10 years old; it is essential for guests with torn, worn, soaked, or similar damaged passports to avoid issues with border police at the country being visited. Otherwise, they may not be accepted into the country. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the passenger, and our agency cannot be held responsible.
  • Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered and exited certain countries can lead to visa denials or inability to cross the border for one or multiple countries, and our agency is not responsible for these situations, which is accepted by the parties.
  • Our agency acts as an intermediary between the traveler and the consulate. The consulate reserves the right to refuse a visa if deemed necessary; the agency has no responsibility regarding the traveler's inability to obtain a visa. Guests failing to carry their travel insurance may face fines from the police of the respective country. In the event that guests are penalized for not having insurance, the responsibility lies with the guests.
  • Children under 18 traveling with their mother must obtain consent from their father, and those traveling with their father must obtain consent from their mother. If they are traveling with a third person, they must obtain consent from both parents. The agency cannot be held responsible for the tour not taking place due to lack of consent.
