Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Tirana  – Elbasan – Ohrid

We will meet at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal .... in front of the counter. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Tirana on Ajet Airlines flight VF367 at 07:10. We will arrive in Tirana at 07:55 local time. After passport, baggage and customs procedures, we will transfer to the center of Tirana with our private buses. We will have a panoramic tour of this beautiful city that has lived through wars throughout the 20th century and endured 40 years of Enver Hoxha's dictatorship, which was established in 1614 by Suleiman Pasha and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During our tour, we will see Skanderbeg Square, Et'hem Bey Mosque, the Historic Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House. Some places we will see from our vehicle include the Parliament and Prime Minister’s Buildings, the Presidential Palace, Teresa of Calcutta Square, and the Tirana Pyramid. After our tour in Tirana, we will have free time. Later, we will reach Ohrid, a Mediterranean town in the Balkans, through Elbasan, starting with a tour of the city square where we will talk about the statues, and then, walking through the district where the historical Ohrid houses, filmed in the “Elveda Rumeli” series are located, we will see the historical Ottoman houses, the Church of St. Sophia, and end our tour with a presentation of the Famous Ohrid Pearl. After our tour, we will proceed to free time. After free time, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 2 Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Resne – Bitola (Monastery) – Skopje
After breakfast, we firstly reach St. Naum, 1 hour away with magnificent views. We see the source of the Kara Drin river, where Ohrid Lake originated. The stunning scenery here will take your breath away. Then, we proceed to Resne. In Resne, we will see the Palace of Niyazi of Resne, one of the most famous figures of the Ottoman Society of Union and Progress, who gained fame due to his contributions during the Greek- Turkish War, and then we will reach Bitola. During our city tour in Bitola; we will visit the Magnolia Square, the Clock Tower, the New Mosque, the Covered Bazaar, the Ishak Pasha Mosque, and you will experience the emotional moments visiting the Military Academy where Atatürk graduated and the Atatürk Museum. After our visit, we continue our journey to the capital Skopje to start our city tour. We will starts in the Macedonian side, which we can call the land of statues, initially we will see the giant statue of Alexander the Great, then we cross the Historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, witnessing how cultures change at once, as we transfer to the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottoman period in the Balkans. We will begin our bazaar tour by explaining the statues at the entrance of the market and proceed to visit the Historical Davut Pasha Bathhouse, Kapan Han, one of the most significant structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes, bringing our tour to an end. After our visits, we will have 1 hour of free time for shopping at Turkish Bazaar. Some of the items we can buy include Shushka pepper, ustrumca peanuts, and traditional shoes. After finishing the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)

After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Matka Canyon, known for its unique beauty. During our pleasant walk, we will take stunning photos, followed by a short free time before gathering back to our vehicle to set off towards Kosovo’s capital Pristina, where we will visit the Ottoman Mansion from the 19th century and the Tomb of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar), martyred by Obilic in the Kosovo Battle, one of the biggest victories of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. After our visit, we will arrive in Prizren, perhaps the quaintest of Kosovo's cities, located on the banks of the Bistrica (Black Water) River after approximately 100 km of travel. During our panoramic tour in Prizren, we will see the 17th-century Turkish Bath, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After our tour and some free time, we will return to Skopje. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Skopje – Belgrade
After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. Following our journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, one of the oldest cities in Europe and a new symbol of vibrant life, beginning with the city’s most elegant street, Knez Mihailova. Then we will visit the Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmet was wounded but its conquest was granted to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. Inside the fortress, we will see the Key Delivery Monument, the French Statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, Sokullu Fountain, and the terrace viewing point where we can see the beautiful confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. After our tour, we will have free time. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 5 Belgrade – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Sarajevo. Traveling through the mountainous Balkan roads while enjoying stunning views along the way, we will start our panoramic city tour upon arrival. We will take a stroll through the most exquisite market, Baščaršija. Our tour of this cultural city begins with the iconic Sebilj Fountain, then we will see the most authentic points of the city like Morica Han. Next, we will visit Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. Continuing our tour, we will witness the Clock Tower, the famed ritual fountain, and the convergence point of cultures, which is known as the location of the Eternal Flame monument, and then we will have some free time; guests may take photos of the Latin Bridge where World War I began if they wish. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 Sarajevo – Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Trebinje
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Mostar, enjoying beautiful views of the Neretva River's ecosystem. Along the way, we will briefly stop at Konjic (Konyitz), a charming small town mentioned in Evliya Çelebi’s Travelogue as a place where horses rested/drank water. We will see the Konjic Bridge, built by IV. Mehmet, and after taking photos, we’ll continue on our journey through Jablanica, where we’ll witness some of the most beautiful nature scenes shaped by the Neretva River. Upon arriving in Mostar, we will take a walking tour where we will first see the Mostar Bridge. (The bridge, constructed in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.) The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery in 1992, but thanks to significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened in 2004. We will also explore the old town’s bazaar. After free time, we will drive to Blagaj, the sacred place of Alperenlar. After a short journey, we will disembark from our vehicle and after a pleasant walk, we will have free time in the area where the Buna River originates, with the option to visit the Dervish House or take the most beautiful photos of the Dervish House from the outside. After these visits, we will transfer to our hotel. Depending on the crowd, we will stay either in Trebinje or the surrounding areas of Medjugorje or Blagaj. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 7 Trebinje – Kotor – Budva – Shkodër - Tirana
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will cross over to Montenegro, one of the world's youngest countries. Our first stop is Kotor, an important historical and natural haven and tourist attraction. In Stari Grad (Old Town) we will have a walking tour to get to know this delightful city. After outside presentations of historical structures such as the Arsenal Square, Clock Tower, Shame Monument, Government Palace, Guardian’s Tower, St. Tryphon Church and Square, and St. Lukas and Nikola Churches, we will take some free time. After our break, we will drive through Budva, which once was a settlement area for fishermen and was sold to a Singapore billionaire after confiscation for restoration efforts in today's tourism. We will climb up to view the gorgeous St. Stephen from above, and then we’ll proceed towards the Albanian city of Shkodër. After Shkodër, we will arrive in Tirana and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

- During the tour, it is sufficient to have Euros available for shopping and expenses in all countries included in the program. The guide will assist with currency exchange in areas that use local currency.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the trip. It is also advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- In our tours, a rotation (seat change) is applied in the seating plan daily, and fixed seats or front seats are not guaranteed. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a requirement for at least 3 days of accommodation to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).
- The free shop shopping limit when entering Turkey from abroad is: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverage (excluding alcoholic drinks containing more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverage (including alcoholic drinks containing less than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 pieces, Chocolate and Sweets: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.
- The guides in the tour program may make changes in the program flow, provided that they show every place specified in the program, depending on weather and road conditions.
- Guests who register for the tour have the right to a free cancellation up to 30 days before the tour date. If there are less than 30 days until the tour date, a 30% penalty will be applied, and if there are 20 days or less until the tour date, a 100% penalty will be applied. Cancellation requests from participants along with hospital reports, work permit documents, etc. obtained from the authorities in Turkey will not be accepted for the cancellation of services that will be used outside of Turkey.
- Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the last cancellation notice will be made 20 days before the tour departure. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be reported by Viyatravel.
- When only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or if options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be informed by Viyatravel 2 days before the travel date.
- During fair, congress, concert, event, sports tournament periods, hotels may be used at a distance greater than the specified kilometers.
- Triple rooms can be allocated depending on hotel availability, and in these types of rooms, the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are made up of folding and coach beds, participants acknowledge that they accept potential crowding in the rooms for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one child who fits the age group staying next to 2 adults.
- Breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and generally consist of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall designated for the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are conducted as panoramic tours from inside the vehicle, excluding museum or site entry fees, typically lasting no more than 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, along with other tours mentioned in the program, may not be conducted if local authorities do not permit visits to the specified sites or if the tours become impossible due to weather conditions or routes being closed for any reason. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot in areas where closed roads impede vehicle access.
- Waiting times at customs gates crossed by road during travel may exceed standard limits, and Viyatravel is not responsible for any adverse effects caused by these waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by local Viyatravel with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not achieved, the tours may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for extra tours may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and hours of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of museums or sites and weather conditions.
- Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join extra tours will be considered to have accepted to wait at a suitable rest area along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest area before the extra tour starts and will be picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
- Individuals participating in plane tours are responsible for completing check-in and boarding procedures personally, either at the airline counters at the airports before their flights or online via the airline companies' websites.
- Viyatravel is not responsible for individuals who are not present at the airport at the specified times communicated by Viyatravel for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who do not board despite completing check-in and boarding on time. All expenses related to new round-trip flights and necessary transfers for those who miss their flights will be borne by them.
- Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be delays in scheduled and charter flights, or times may change before the trip and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to inform passengers of these changes as soon as possible. Passengers accept the risk of time changes when purchasing the trip. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and service charges.
