Day 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN - SAVONA
We will meet at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning and then depart for Milan at 06:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. We will arrive in Milan at local time 08:45, after which we will transfer to the port of Savona, where our COSTA SMERALDA ship will depart. After check-in and passport procedures on the ship, we will settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will leave the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 02: MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00 in the morning. There will be free time for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by our guide for an extra fee. Starting with the visit to the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill, we will see highlights of Marseille such as Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina. Later, we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. The tour will start at the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral from the 12th century with its Romanesque facade and covered arched street. During our pleasant walk in the old part of the city, we will see the ancient inns and the Mazarin district designed by Cardinal Mazarin’s brother in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 03: BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide for an extra fee. Our city tour in one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises will start with our private bus waiting at the port. The places we will see include La Rambla Street, the Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Harbor, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, and the street museum created by Gaudi, Paseo de Gracia, and his most significant work, Sagrada Familia. During the tour, we will go up to Montjuic Hill to take scenic photos. After some free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. The ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 04: IBIZA
Our ship will dock at the port of Ibiza at 12:30 in the afternoon. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can get information from our guide and enjoy swimming on the stunning beaches of Ibiza, shop, and dine. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 05: DAY AT SEA
This day will be spent at sea, and our ship will offer many alternatives. Guests can enjoy the outdoor and indoor pools, hot tubs, and sunbathing areas. Those who wish can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment offered at numerous bars. There will also be various dining options available throughout the day. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 06: PALERMO
Our ship will dock at the port of Palermo at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized by our guide for an extra fee. After arriving in Palermo, we will head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday spots in Sicily. With its medieval structures, the town is both perfect for shopping and truly feeling the Sicilian spirit. During the tour, we will visit the Norman cathedral and the ancient washhouse. After free time, we will return to Palermo and take a tour that introduces the city. We will then visit the Monreale Monastery, where we will see a total of 6340m² of mosaic decoration depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. After this, we will return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 07: CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide for an extra fee. On this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey with our bus waiting at Civitavecchia Port, we will have a panoramic tour in Rome, where we will see highlights including Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, and Circus Maximus. Later, we will explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. The places we will see include Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, where we will end our tour and take a shopping break. After the tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 08: SAVONA – MILAN - ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Savona at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we will complete our disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. We will transfer to Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting at the port. After arriving at the airport and completing check-in and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul at 15:10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1896. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at local time 19:10. End of our tour.
