1st Day: Bodrum – Kos Island

Our tour begins with a meeting at Bodrum Port or in front of Bodrum Castle. After completing customs procedures, we reach Kos Island with a ferry ride that lasts approximately 45 minutes. After completing our customs procedures at Kos Port, we start our city tour of Kos with our bus that awaits us.

First, we visit Kos Port, the city center, Bar Street, and Kos Castle. In this island where the important figure in medical history, Hippocrates, was born, we see the Plane Tree of Hippocrates, where he taught his students in its shade and which has become a symbol of the city. This ancient plane tree, built in the 14th century, is one of the most striking structures of the island. Then we explore the Lozia and Defterdar Mosques, the Agora and the New Agora, as well as Eleftherias Square. After a lunch break with a view of the port, we offer free time for guests who wish to shop.

After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and complete our check-in procedures. Then we have free time.

Important Notification:

  • The Border Visa Program is a quick and facilitated visa application provided by Greek authorities for Turkish citizens visiting certain Greek islands for short-term tourist visits.

The visa issued under this program does not have Schengen visa characteristics. It is only valid on the Greek island being visited and is scheduled for a maximum of 6 nights and 7 days with a single entry-exit. During the validity period of the visa, you can only stay on the island you entered; inter-island transitions are not permitted. At the end of your visit, you must exit from the same island.

  • The Border Visa is not decided in advance like a Schengen visa.
After the application file is prepared, the passenger will pass without a visa from Turkish ports.
The final decision will be given at the customs point of the relevant Greek island on the travel day.
  • Generally, no information is provided before travel.
However, in some negative situations, information may be received that the application has been rejected a few days before travel.
  • No reason will be given for rejected applications.
Also, visa fees will not be refunded.

Things to Pay Attention To:

  • The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and must contain at least 2 blank pages.
  • The following passengers will not be issued a visa at the border:
    • Those who have received a rejection from Greece before,
    • Those with a TRNC entry in their passport,
    • Those who have obtained their passport from the Turkish Consulate in TRNC.
  • The border visa is only valid for the island applied for.
No transitions to other islands are allowed.
