After ticket, baggage and passport procedures, we depart for Sarajevo at 09:15 on Pegasus Airlines flight PC291. Arrival in Sarajevo at 10:10. After passport, baggage, and customs procedures, we leave the airport for the Sarajevo tour. We start with a city tour. We stroll through Baščaršija, Europe’s most beautiful marketplace. In this cultural city tour, we begin with the Sebilj fountain, which has become a symbol of the market, and then see Morica Han, one of the most authentic points of the city. Next, we visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, which is related to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. During our tour, we see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, which is also home to the Eternal Flame monument that has become a symbol. Afterwards, we have some free time where guests can take pictures at the Latin Bridge, where World War I started. We then have some free time. Guests can join the optional Travnik tour (55 EUR). We head towards Travnik. Once we arrive in Travnik, we first start exploring the old castle. After visiting the castle built during the Bosnian Kingdom and decorated during Ottoman rule, we visit the "Sulejmanije" mosque, which was the first mosque built by the Ottomans in Bosnia. We take a stroll through the city center. One of the most significant places to see in Travnik is the house of Ivo Andric, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning author. After visiting the house, which has been turned into a museum and beautifully explains the reasons for ethnic discrimination in the Balkan geography, we visit the Blue Water, reputedly where Fatih Sultan Mehmed drank. After this, we head back to Sarajevo. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
