DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – VENICE
Meeting at 08:30 at the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Venice at 11:30 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1871. Arrival in Venice at 13:05 local time. After arrival, we set off for the "Venice City Tour". In this tour of the city of gondolas, we will see the highlights such as St. Mark's Cathedral and Square, Doge's Palace, Grand Canal, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto Bridge. Guests who wish can join the optional "Gondola Tour (60 Euros)". You will have the opportunity to see Venice's canals with traditional gondolas, which are one of the symbols of Venice. After the tour, we head to our hotel. After checking into our rooms, free time. Overnight at our hotel in Venice.
DAY 02 VENICE – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
After breakfast, we check out of our rooms and depart for Florence with our private vehicle. After approximately 2.5 hours of travel, we arrive in Florence. The "Florence City Tour" will include sights such as the Duomo Cathedral (Santa Maria Del Fiore), Baptistery, Old Palace, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Signoria. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Upon arrival at the hotel, after check-in, we have free time. Overnight at our hotel in Montecatini.
DAY 03 MONTECATINI
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off with our private vehicle for the "Siena & Pisa & San Gimignano Tour". We will see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is considered a miracle for still standing despite its tilt of 5.5 meters. Then we will visit Siena, which is the typical Italian town where the world-famous Palio races are held and reflects the beauty of the Middle Ages. After that, we'll visit San Gimignano, a historic town surrounded by walls that was used as a garrison during the Roman Empire due to its elevated position. After completing the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Montecatini.
DAY 04 MONTECATINI – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of our rooms and depart for Rome with our private vehicle. After approximately 2.5 hours of travel, we arrive in Rome. Upon arrival, we head to the city center for the "Rome City Tour". We will see the Castel Sant'Angelo, the Venice Square where Mussolini addressed the public, the II Vittorio Emanuele Monument, the Vatican Church and St. Peter's Square, the Fontana di Trevi (Trevi Fountain), Via Del Corso, and the Spanish Steps panaramically. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. After checking into our rooms, we have free time. Overnight at our hotel in Rome.
DAY 05 ROME – CIVITAVECCHIA ( EMBARKATION)
After breakfast, we check out of our rooms and have free time until the hour determined by our guide. Then we set off with our private vehicle for the “Castel Gandolfo Lakes Region & Nemi Village & Outlet Tour”. We start our excursion at Castel Gandolfo, where the Pope's summer residence is located and offers a magnificent view of Lake Albano. After arriving at Nemi Village, we will have a pleasant walking tour. After the walking tour, free time. After meeting, we move to one of Italy’s most famous outlets, Castel Romano Outlet, and have free time for shopping. After the tour, we transfer to the Civitavecchia port where our Costa Smeralda ship is docked. After the ship check-in, we settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 06 GENOA
Our ship will dock at the port of Genoa at 08:30. After breakfast, we set off with our private vehicle for the "Genoa City Tour". The port city of Genoa, once the capital of an important maritime kingdom that ruled the Mediterranean, including Istanbul, will be our first stop. We will see important sites such as San Lorenzo Cathedral, the Doge’s Palace, and the house of Christopher Columbus. After the tour, we return to our ship. Guests who wish can join the optional “Santa Margherita & Portofino (80 Euros) tour”. The first stop is Santa Margherita Ligure, known for its elegant atmosphere by the sea. We will take a short walk through palm-lined streets, the port, and charming alleys. During the free time here, guests can enjoy a coffee by the sea. From Santa Margherita, we take a ferry to reach Portofino, famous for its colorful houses and luxury yachts. In this small but impressive village, we will explore the harbor and the views around St. George's Church. After a photo break, guests can have lunch at seafood restaurants or explore with a short free time for shopping. After the Portofino visit, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 07 MARSEILLE
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00. After breakfast, we check out of our rooms and set off with our private vehicle for the "Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour". We will start our tour by visiting "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. This visit will be followed by Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old city, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we will head to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. The tour will begin with the famous St. Saviour's Cathedral dating back to the 12th century with its Romanesque facade and vaulted walkway. We will enjoy a pleasant walk in the old area of the city, where we will see ancient inns and the Mazarin neighborhood designed by Cardinal Mazarin's brother in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 08 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:00. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and transfer to the airport with our private vehicle. After passport and luggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1854 at 12:10. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 16:40 local time. End of our tour.
