Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Belgrade – Srebrenica - Sarajevo
Meet at the Air Serbia Counter at Istanbul Airport's International Departures Terminal. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Belgrade at 04:20 with Air Serbia Airlines flight JU427. Arrival in Belgrade at 05:00 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we leave Belgrade airport with our private vehicle. Our first destination is Srebrenica located in the east of Bosnia Herzegovina. We visit Srebrenica, the site of the massacre that occurred on July 11, 1995 to commemorate the innocent Bosniak people who were held captive. Here, we visit the camp area and the martyrdom site to pay our respects. Afterwards, we head to the capital Sarajevo. We take a walk in the most esteemed market in Europe, Baščaršija. Our tour begins at the Sebilj Fountain, which has become a symbol of the market, and then we see one of the city’s most authentic spots, Morica Han. Next, we visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. During our tour, we see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, which is also home to the Eternal Flame monument. Afterwards, we have some free time, and guests can take photos at the Latin Bridge, where World War I broke out. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Sarajevo – Vrelo Bosna - Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Medjugorje
After breakfast we visit Vrelo Bosne, Bosnia’s largest national park located at the foot of Igman Mountain that houses the source of the Bosna River and was arranged during Tito's order with excellent walking trails, carriage drivers, and authentic cafes. After our free time, we continue to Mostar. Our journey to Mostar will take approximately 2.5 hours with some stops along the way. We will take our first break in the city of Konjic to see the famous Konjic Bridge restored by Turkey and get a coffee on the bank of the Neretva River. After arriving in Mostar, we will walk around the city starting with the Mostar Bridge (built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, the bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992 but reopened in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will see Koska Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Afterwards, we will visit the Blagaj settlement 12 km away from Mostar, where the Blagaj Alperen Lodge and the source of the Buna River are located. After our tour, we will spend the night (in Medjugorje or nearby) at our hotel.

Day 3 Medjugorje – Kotor – Budva - Shkodra
After our breakfast at the hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the world's youngest states. Our first stop is Kotor, an important historical and natural paradise and a tourist attraction. During our walking tour in the Stari Grad (Old Town-Fortress), you will get to know this charming place. After our Kotor tour, we pass through Budva and with a panoramic view from the top, we see the magnificent Sveti Stefan, which was an island settlement of fishermen that was later purchased by a Singapore billionaire and is currently undergoing restoration to attract tourism, and afterwards we head to the Albanian city of Shkodra. After our arrival, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Shkodra - Tirana – Ohrid
After breakfast at our hotel, we head to the center of Tirana. We will conduct a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which has survived wars throughout the 20th century and experienced the dictatorial regime of Enver Hoxha for 40 years. We will see Ethem Bey Mosque located at Skanderbeg Square, the Historical Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House. Other sights that we will see from the vehicle include the Parliament and Prime Minister's Buildings, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid. After the Tirana tour and free time, we will move on to Ohrid, the jewel of the Balkans via Elbasan. We will begin our Ohrid city tour at the Port Square, explaining the statues we see and during our walk in the neighborhood where historical Ohrid houses, the Aya Sofya church, and the famous Ohrid pearl that symbolizes the city is located. After the tour, we will have free time.After our visits, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our Ohrid hotel.

Day 5 Ohrid – Sv Naum – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After our breakfast, we will travel to St. Naum with breathtaking views. Here we will visit the origin of Ohrid Lake. The stunning view will surely take your breath away. After visiting Sveti Naum, we will proceed to Tetovo, the second largest city in Macedonia, where most of the residents are Muslim Albanians. We will view the city panoramically, and will visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architecture in the Balkans. Following the tour, we will move on to Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. Here, we begin our tour of this city, which separates its two different cultures with the famous Vardar River, starting from the Macedonian side, where we will first see the gigantic statue of Alexander the Great, and then, by crossing the historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, we will witness how cultures can change at once. Here we will move to the Turkish Bazaar, one of the finest markets of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans, where we will begin our bazaar tour at Davut Pasha Hamam, one of the most significant structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and then proceed to see the Kapan Han and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes. After our visits, we will have one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Among the items we can buy are Şuşka pepper, ustrumca peanuts, and chariks. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Prizren (Kosovo) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast we head to the stunning Matka Canyon, where we can take a nature hike following which those who wish can enjoy a boat trip in the canyon with the famous boats. After our tour, we will take a panoramic view of Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, which has a population mostly composed of Muslim Albanians, while visiting the memorial site of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar) at the Kosovo Field where one of the greatest victories of the Ottomans in the Balkans was achieved, as he was martyred by Obilic. After our visit, we will briefly travel to Prizren. During our panoramic tour of Prizren, one of the cutest cities in the Balkans, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress. After the tour and free time, we will move back to Skopje. Upon our arrival in Skopje, we will participate in a Balkan night at a local or regional restaurant determined by our guide, included in the tour price. After the entertainment, we will transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Skopje – Belgrade – Istanbul
After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we start our city tour in Belgrade, Europe’s oldest city, starting from Knez Mihailova Street, known as the symbol of liveliness and movement. Following this, we visit the Belgrade Fortress, which was the supply center of the Ottoman navy, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded and the conquest was granted to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. Within the fortress, we will see the Key Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Sokullu Fountain, and the terrace area providing the most beautiful view of where the Danube and Sava rivers meet. After our tour, we will have free time until the flight hours. After that, we will transfer to Belgrade airport. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul with Air Serbia flight JU426 at 00:50. Arrival in Istanbul at 03:35. We hope to see you again on your next trip...
