Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Niš-Skopje
Meeting in front of the Air Serbia counter at Istanbul Airport's International Departures Terminal at 14:00. After check-in, baggage, and passport processes, we will depart for Niš at 17:00 on Air Serbia flight JU1805. Arrival in Niš at 17:25 local time. After baggage, passport, and customs procedures, we will start our tour in the city of Niš, one of the oldest cities in history and the birthplace of Emperor Constantine, the founder of Istanbul. After a panoramic tour of this city, which is the third largest in Serbia, we will proceed to the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje. After arriving in Skopje, we will have a brief panoramic tour before heading to our hotel. Accommodation - SKOPJE

Day 2 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast , we depart for a tour in Kosovo, which has a large Muslim Albanian population, to visit the 19th-century Ottoman Mansion near the capital Pristina and the Tomb of Murad I (Hüdavendigar), who was martyred by Obilic in the Battle of Kosovo, one of the Ottoman Empire's greatest victories in the Balkans, then heading to Prizren. During our panoramic tour of one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, Prizren, we will see the 17th-century Turkish Bath, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress among other sights. After the tour ends and free time, we will return to Skopje.
Upon arrival in Skopje we will begin our tour of this city where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, starting with the Macedonian side, where we will first see the impressive Alexander the Great statue among other statues, then we will cross the historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River to witness how drastically the cultures change as we move over to the Skopje Turkish Bazaar, one of the most renowned Ottoman marketplaces in the Balkans. We will start our bazaar tour by talking about the statues at the entrance, visiting the historical Davut Pasha Bath, continue to Kapan Han, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived earthquakes. Free time will be granted for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar for one hour. You will be able to buy items including Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and çarık shoes. After our tour, we will attend a Balkan night at a local restaurant determined by the guide, which is included in the tour fee. Transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
After breakfast , we move to the Matka Canyon, famous for its unique beauty, for a nature hike, after which guests who wish can take a boat trip in the canyon during the free time. After our tour, we will head to Tetovo, the second largest city in Macedonia where the majority of the population is Muslim Albanians. We will see the city panoramically and visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architectural design in the Balkans, then we will pass through the Mavrovo mountains to the pearl of the Balkans, Ohrid. Upon arrival, we will start our Ohrid city tour, known for having one of the largest lakes in the Balkans, starting with the Harbor Square, where we will talk about the statues we see, and then take a walk through the historical Ottoman houses located in the neighborhood where the popular TV series Elveda Rumeli was filmed, visit the Church of St. Sophia and conclude our tour with the presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl. After free time, we will transfer to our hotel for the night.

Day 4 Ohrid - St. Naum - Elbasan - Tirana - Shkodër
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for St. Naum, which we will reach after approximately 1 hour of journey with breathtaking views. We will visit the source from which Lake Ohrid emerges. The stunning scenery will take your breath away. After passing through the city of Elbasan, we will proceed to the capital, Tirana. We will conduct a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which endured wars throughout the 20th century and suffered under Enver Hoxha's dictatorship for 40 years, which became the capital of Albania in 1920. During the tour, we will see significant sites including Ethem Bey Mosque, the historical Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet House, the Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, the Presidential Palace, Teresa's Memorial, and Scanderbeg Square. After our Tirana tour, we will have free time. We will then arrive in the city of Shkodër and check into our hotel. ISKODRA

Day 5 Shkodër – Sv. Stefan – Budva – Kotor - Trebinje (Medjugorje)
After breakfast at our hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the world's newest states. Our first stop will be St. Stefan, a resort area that was once a fishing settlement, confiscated and sold to a multimillionaire from Singapore, now a favorite destination for the jet set, where we will take a panoramic look (Depending on parking availability). Continuing on the road with breathtaking views on the Adriatic coast, we will see Budva panoramically, and our next stop will be Kotor, a significant center of history and nature. Here, you will walk through Stari Grad (Old Town - Fortress) where you will get to know this charming town. After our tour, we will proceed to the city where we will be accommodated. Overnight will be in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or the surrounding area.

Day 6 Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at our hotel, we proceed to historical Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, during our walking city tour, we first see the Mostar Bridge (built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed in the war in 1992 by Croatian artillery but was rebuilt and reopened in 2004 with the significant contributions of the Republic of Turkey. We will explore the old city market. After free time, we will head to Blagaj, known as the land of the Alperen. After our visits in Blagaj, we will proceed to the capital, Sarajevo. We will take a break in the town of Konjic to see the historic Konjic Bridge, which has been restored from Ottoman times to the present day, built by Turkey, and enjoy a coffee by the Neretva River.After our stop, we will arrive in the capital Sarajevo, where we’ll take a stroll in one of Europe's most remarkable bazaars, Baščaršija and start our tour by viewing the famous Sebil Fountain, which has become a symbol of the city. Next, we will see the Morica Han, one of the most authentic spots in the city, and then visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. The tour will continue with the Clock Tower and the Eternal Flame monument, after which we will have free time. Guests may take photos at the Latin Bridge where WWI began. Bosnian Kofte at a local restaurant is included in the tour package. After our tour and free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 7 Sarajevo - Belgrade
After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, the oldest major city in Europe and a new symbol of liveliness and activity, beginning on the elegant Knez Mihailova Street. Next, we will go to Kalemegdan Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed got wounded, but the conquest was granted to Suleiman the Magnificent. We will view the Key Monument, the French Statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the Sokullu Fountain, and the area with the best view of where the Sava and Danube rivers meet. After the tour, we will have free time. Overnight at our hotel in Belgrade.
