DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – GENOA
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 04:10 AM and then take the Turkish Airlines flight TK1813 at 07:10 AM to Nice. After arriving in Nice at 09:10 AM local time, we will transfer to our ship located at the port of Genoa. After check-in procedures for the ship and settling into our cabins, we will have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 02 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at Naples port at 13:00. Guests who wish can participate in the "Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)" organized additionally by our guide for extra charge. Sorrento, the country of colors, where the mermaids reside, is the city of lemon trees and oranges, and the birthplace of poet Torquato Tasso. Sorrento, which hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, is a charming southern city where kindness and hospitality combine and are passed down from generation to generation. After the Sorrento tour, we will move to Capri. We will arrive at Capri island after a journey by fast ferry. Places to visit in Capri include the Capri town located above the port, and "Ana Capri" town at the top of the hill, Augustus gardens, and shopping streets. Those who wish can take the cable car from Ana Capri to the highest point of the island for a chance to see a magnificent view. After the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 03 MESSINA (TAORMINA)
Our ship will dock at Messina port at 09:00. After breakfast, we will have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the "Taormina Tour" organized additionally by our guide for extra charge. During this tour, we will visit the world-famous Taormina town through magnificent scenic slopes. Among the places we will see are the Cathedral, Corvaia Palace, and the Roman Theater (from outside) and Umberto street. After spending some free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 04 VALLETTA
Our ship will dock at Valletta port at 08:00. After breakfast, we will have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the "Mosta & Valletta & Mdina & Marsaxlokk tour" organized additionally by our guide for extra charge. Our first stop will be Mosta. In this tour, we will visit the Santa Maria Assunta basilica, which has the third largest dome in Europe. The exterior diameter of this massive basilica is 56.2 meters, and the interior paintings were made by painter Giuseppe Cali. We will see a replica of a 200 kg bomb that was dropped during World War II by German Nazi planes and pierced the dome, but did not explode, along with information about the interior and exterior architecture of the church. Afterward, we will visit Mdina, the Old Capital of Malta, which served as a natural set for many scenes from the famous series Game of Thrones. While wandering through the narrow streets of this medieval city, we will see the magnificent Saint Paul Cathedral, the Falson Palace built by the noble Falson family from the 13th century, the Carmelite Monastery built in Baroque style in the 17th century, and the old houses of Mdina. Our tour will continue with a visit to the fishing village of "Marsaxlokk". You must not miss the view of the small charming fishing boats with Malta's unique colors and designs called Luzzo. Also, during your free time in this charming fishing village, guests wishing can have lunch in local restaurants offering menus consisting of fresh fish and seafood. After our free time, we will head towards Valletta. We will conduct a city tour of Valletta. Valletta was chosen as the European Capital of Culture by the European Union Council in 2018. During our tour, we will have the chance to see the city of Valletta surrounded by magnificent walls from the outside. After the bus tour, we will explore the lively streets of the capital Valletta with our guide. Our first stop will be the Barracca Gardens, which have been built on the upper part of the defensive walls surrounding this magnificent city. These gardens, built by the Knights of St. John, also offer a magnificent view of the Grand Harbor and the three old cities surrounded by walls. After the tour ends, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 05 SAILING AT SEA
This day will be spent sailing at sea, and our ship will offer you many alternatives. Guests wishing can benefit from the ship's open and closed swimming pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who wish can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment options taking place at numerous bars. Various dining options will also be waiting for you throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 06 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00. After breakfast, we will have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the "Barcelona City Tour" organized additionally by our guide for extra charge. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of the most beautiful metropolises in Europe, will begin with our special bus waiting for us at the port. Among the places we will see are La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Harbor, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and harbor, Catalunya Square, Paseo de Gracia street, where Gaudi turned his houses into a street museum, and the essence of his work, Sagrada Familia. During our tour, we will climb Montjuic hill and take photographs of the view. After some free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. DAY 07 MARSEILLE
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 07:00. After breakfast, we will have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the "Marseille & Aix En Provence Tour" organized additionally by our guide for extra charge. In this tour, after meeting with our guide, we will first go to Aix en Provence, which is 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral, which has a Romanesque façade and a vaulted pathway dating back to the 12th century. Then during our enjoyable walking tour in the old district of the city, we will see the ancient inns and the neighborhood designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin in the 17th Century. After a short break, we will return to Marseille, an important maritime city. We will start our visit by first visiting the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral," located on a high hill. Following this visit, we will see the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old city, Hotel de Ville, and the harbor area among the sights. After some free time in the city center, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 08 GENOA – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Genoa port at 08:00. After breakfast, we will complete our ship disembarkation procedures and depart for Nice Airport by our awaiting vehicle. After our check-in procedures, we will depart at 14:55 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1896. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 18:55 local time. End of our tour
