Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Niš-Skopje
Meeting at the Air Serbia counter in the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal at 14:00. After ticket, luggage and passport procedures, we will depart for Niš at 17:00 with Air Serbia Airlines flight JU1805. Arrival in Niš at 17:25 local time. After baggage, passport and customs procedures, we will start our tour in the city of Niš. After our panoramic tour in this city, which is one of the oldest cities in history and the birthplace of Emperor Constantine, the founder of Istanbul, we will proceed to North Macedonia's capital, Skopje. After a brief panoramic tour upon our arrival in Skopje, we will head to our hotel. Accommodation - SKOPJE

Day 2 Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
After breakfast we depart for Kosovo, which has a large Muslim Albanian population, one of the youngest states in the world. First, we will visit the 19th-century Ottoman Mansion near the capital of Pristina and the tomb of Sultan Murad I, who was martyred by Obilic in the Battle of Kosovo, one of the biggest victories of the Ottomans in the Balkans, and then head to Prizren. In Prizren, one of the charming cities of the Balkans, we will have a panoramic tour including the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Castle. After the tour ends, we will have free time. After this, we will head back to Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.
Upon our arrival in Skopje, we will begin our tour of the city where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, starting with the Macedonian side known as the "land of statues" where we will first see the large statue of Alexander the Great. Then, we will cross the Historical Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River and witness a moment of how cultures change in an instant as we enter the Skopje Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottoman era in the Balkans. We will start our bazaar tour with the Davut Pasha Bath near the entrance, followed by important buildings such as Kapan Han, one of the most significant structures of the Ottoman Bazaar organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes. After the visits, there will be one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Some items that can be purchased include Şuşka pepper, ustrumca peanuts, and chariks. After our tour, we will have a Balkan night at a local restaurant, as included in the tour price. After the entertainment, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
After breakfast we head to Matka Canyon, known for its unique beauty, where we will undertake a nature walk and have free time for those who wish to take a canyon tour with the famous boats in the area. Following this, we will proceed to Tetovo, the second largest city in Macedonia where most of its population is Muslim Albanian. We will have a panoramic view of the city and visit the Alaca Mosque, which has a rare architecture found in the Balkans, before passing through the Mavrovo Mountains to Ohrid, known as the Pearl of the Balkans. Upon arrival, we will start our city tour, which is one of the largest lakes in the Balkans. Our Ohrid city tour will start with the port square where we will talk about the statues, we will take a walk in the district where the historical Ohrid houses are located, known for the filming of the series "Elveda Rumeli", including the historical Ottoman houses, the Church of St. Sophia, and conclude with the presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, symbolizing the city. After some free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Ohrid - St Naum - Elbasan-Tirana-Shkodra
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart from the hotel. With magnificent views, we arrive at St. Naum after approximately 1 hour drive. We will visit the source of Lake Ohrid. The exquisite view here will take your breath away. After passing through the city of Elbasan, we will head to the capital, Tirana.We will do a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which has endured wars throughout the 20th century and experienced a dictatorship under Enver Hoxha for 40 years, established by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and made the capital of Albania in 1920. During the tour, we will see places like the Ethem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, National Museum, Opera and Ballet Building, Parliament and Prime Minister’s Office, Presidential Palace, Teresa Memorial Statue, and Skanderbeg Square. After the Tirana tour, we will have free time. We will then reach the city of Shkodra and settle into our hotel. SHKODRA

Day 5 Shkodra – Sv.Stefan – Budva – Kotor - Trebinje (Medjugorje)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will cross into Montenegro, one of the youngest countries in the world. Our first stop will be St. Stefan, an island previously settled by fishermen that was expropriated and later sold to a Singaporean billionaire, which has now become a holiday destination for the jet set, where you can see it from the hilltop (depending on vehicle parking availability). Continuing along the extraordinary picturesque roads of the Adriatic coast, we will have a panoramic view of Budva, followed by our next stop, Kotor, an important historical and natural treasure and a tourist attraction. Here, we will walk around Stari Grad (Old Town-Castle) to get to know this charming place. After the Kotor tour, we will proceed to the city where we will spend the night. Accommodation is in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or nearby. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head towards Historic Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, we will make a city tour on foot, starting with the famous Mostar Bridge (which was built in 1557 by architect Hayreddin and is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed in the war that occurred in 1992 but was reopened in 2004 thanks to the great contributions of the Republic of Turkey. We will explore the old town bazaar. After some free time, we will head to Blagaj, known for its historical significance. After visiting Blagaj, we will move towards the capital, Sarajevo. We’ll stop in the town of Konjic to see the famous Ottoman-era Konjic Bridge, restored by Turkey, and enjoy a coffee break by the Neretva River. After our break, we will arrive in the capital, Sarajevo. We will stroll through the enchanting Baščaršija, one of the most notable bazaars in Europe. Our tour will start at the Sebilj Fountain, which is almost a symbol of the bazaar, followed by a visit to the Morica Han, one of the most authentic spots in the city. We will also visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. During our tour, we will see the Clock Tower, a fountain that has become a ritual, and one of the areas that symbolizes the meeting of cultures, featuring the Eternal Flame monument. After this tour, we will have free time, and guests who would like can take a photo at the Latin Bridge, which symbolizes the start of World War I. We will enjoy Bosnian meatballs at a local restaurant, included in the tour price. After our tour and free time, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Sarajevo - Belgrade
After breakfast, we will depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, the oldest city in Europe known for its vibrancy and activity, starting with Knez Mihailova Street, the city's most elegant avenue. Then we will proceed to Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded during his campaigns, yet its conquest was realized under the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. The fortress features sites such as the Key Monument, the French Statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the Sokollu Fountain, and the terrace area with the best view of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. After this tour, we will have some free time. Overnight stay at our hotel in Belgrade.
