Day 1 Istanbul – Pristina – Prizren – Shkodra
Meeting at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal at the counter. After ticket, luggage and passport procedures, we will depart Istanbul at 07:50 via Turkish Airlines flight TK1017 to Pristina. Arrival in Pristina at 08:30. After passport, luggage, and customs procedures, we depart for a city tour of Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, one of the youngest states in the world, predominantly populated by Muslim Albanians. We will have an emotional day in the former Ottoman lands where a humanitarian tragedy took place very recently. Among the panoramic sights we will see are the Bazaar, the Bazaar Mosque built by Sultan Beyazıt in the 15th century, and the clock tower built in the 19th century to remind the public of prayer times, after which we will have free time. Then we will continue our journey to visit the Tomb of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar), martyred by Obilic in the Kosovo Field Battle, one of the greatest victories of the Ottomans in the Balkans. After our visit, we will take a short bus ride to Prizren. In Prizren, one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress during our panoramic tour. After the tour and with some free time, we will cross over to Albania and drive to Shkodra. After a panoramic view of the charming city of Shkodra, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 2 Shkodra – Budva – Kotor – Medjugorje
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will cross into one of the youngest states in the world, Montenegro. Our first stop will be a break to take a panoramic view of the stunning St. Stefan, a place once inhabited by fishermen which was sold to a Singapore billionaire. (Depending on vehicle parking availability). We continue our journey along the extraordinary scenic roads along the Adriatic coast, after seeing Budva panoramically, our next stop is the significant historical and natural beauty tourist attraction, Kotor. Here, during a walking tour in Stari Grad (Old Town-Fortress), you will explore this charming town. Our guests may also join a boat activity in Kotor Bay organized by our guide (25EUR). After our tour of Kotor, we will proceed to the city where we will spend the night. Accommodation in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or surrounding areas. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3 Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will head towards the historical city of Mostar. Upon arriving in Mostar, we will start our city tour with a walking tour where we first see the Mostar Bridge. (The bridge, which was built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). It was destroyed during the war in 1992 by Croatian artillery but was reopened in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will explore the old town market. After free time we will head to Blagaj, the region of the Alperens. After visiting Blagaj, we will continue towards the capital Sarajevo. We will pass through Konjic before arriving in Sarajevo where we will start our city tour. We will stroll through Baščaršija, the most distinguished market in Europe. Our tour, which introduces this cultural city, will start at the Sebilj Fountain, which has almost become a symbol of the market, and then we will see Morica Han, one of the most authentic spots in the city. Next, we will explore Husein Bey's Mosque, a relative of Kanuni Sultan Suleiman. During our tour, we will also visit the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, which is also the location of the Unquenchable Fire monument. We will then have free time, and our guests may take pictures at the Latin Bridge, where World War I broke out, during their free time. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Sarajevo – Belgrade
After breakfast, we will depart for Belgrade. Following our journey, we will start our city tour in Belgrade, a symbol of liveliness and movement, which is one of the oldest cities in Europe, with the most elegant street, Knez Mihailova. Next, we will proceed to the Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured, but its conquest was destined for Kanuni Sultan Suleiman. In the fortress, we will see the Key Delivery Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the Sokollu Fountain, and the terrace area with the best view of where the Danube and Sava rivers meet, bringing our tour to an end. Our guests may join the boat activity on the Danube and Sava rivers organized by our guide (20 EUR). After the tour, we will have free time. We will spend the night in our hotel in Belgrade.

Day 5 Belgrade – Skopje
After breakfast, we will head to the capital of Macedonia, Skopje. We will start our tour in this city, which is separated by the famous Vardar River from two different cultures, beginning with the Macedonian side, where the most notable sights include the giant statue of Alexander the Great. Then, we will cross the Historic Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, witnessing how cultures change instantaneously before us as we pass into the Ottoman-era Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars in the Balkans. We will start our tour in the bazaar by discussing the statues at the entrance, visiting the historical Davut Pasha Bath, continuing to Kapan Han, one of the essential structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and ending our tour by seeing Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived despite earthquakes. We will have one hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar, where we can find Shushka pepper, roasted peanuts, and traditional footwear. Following the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 Skopje – Matka Canyon - Tetova(Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
After breakfast, we will head to the Matka Canyon, famous for its breathtaking beauty, where we will enjoy a nature walk, and guests can take a boat trip in the Canyon with its famous boats during free time. Next, we will visit the Alaca Mosque in the city of Tetova, which is rare in the Balkans for its architecture, and then we will cross the Mavrovo Mountains to reach the seaside town of Ohrid in the Balkans. We will start our tour in Ohrid at the Harbor Square where we will describe the statues we see and will take a walk in the neighborhood where the historical Ohrid houses, which were used as the filming location of the series Elveda Rumeli, are located, showcasing the historical Ottoman houses, the Church of St. Sophia, and we will conclude our tour by presenting the famous Ohrid Pearl, symbolizing Ohrid. Our guests may also join our guided boat activity on Lake Ohrid (15EUR). After the tour, we will have free time. Following the free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 7 Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Resne – Bitola (Manastır) – Istanbul
After breakfast, we will start our tour by firstly visiting St. Naum, which is located approximately 1 hour away, offering magnificent views. We will visit the spring of Lake Ohrid, the source of the lake’s birth. The stunning scenery here will take your breath away. Afterward, we will move to Resne. In Resne, we will see the palace of one of the most famous figures in the Committee of Union and Progress, Resneli Niyazi, who gained fame during the Turkish-Greek War. Then we will arrive in Bitola. During our city tour, we will visit the Turkish Bazaar, the Bezisten, İshak Pasha Mosque, the Yeni Mosque, the Haydar Kadı Mosque, and experience the most emotional moments at Atatürk’s Military Academy, where he graduated, and the Atatürk Museum. After our visit, we will continue our journey to Skopje Airport. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will depart Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1006 at 20:15.
